Spring is a time for all things renewed and your skin should be no different. Many of the clients we see have never even considered doing a chemical peel and we want you to know why it’s a great idea!

What are chemical peels, anyway? We’re glad you asked! Peels gently exfoliate dull, damaged surface layers of your skin to reveal a smooth, radiant, glowing complexion. Once the dull skin is removed, our professional grade products will be absorbed more readily. This creates an environment where cells turn over, leaving your skin refreshed and renewed! Our customized chemical peel is our most popular option since we’re customizing the peel to exactly your skin type.

Reduce Wrinkles Caused by Sun and Aging

Chemical peels work by removing the top layer of your skin. It also “communicates” with the layer of skin under your top layer so that it remodels that skin to absorb the skin care products. As the new layer of skin begins to heal, new collagen forms and it can provide you with more taut skin. Those that have seen the best results from our custom chemical peel typically have mild to moderate wrinkles. After your treatment is finished, your technician should recommend a line of skin care products specifically for your skin type. This will help continue to lift and firm your skin to see optimal results.

Potentially End (or Help) Acne and Soften Acne Scarring

No two skin types are them same, which is why we highly recommend the custom chemical peel, especially for those who currently suffer from acne or have in the past. Acne peels that we customize will penetrate deeply to unclog the pores. Simultaneously, the peel will be working off the blackheads that are closer to the surface and working to lighten or eliminate acne scarring. We know the struggle is real. We see it day in and day out, so we’re happy to help you get back to skin you’re excited to show off!

Improve the Overall Look and Feel of Your Skin

The whole point of a chemical peel is to rejuvenate your skin and leave you looking closer to the age you feel. After leaving the spa, you will continue to notice small changes for the better as your skin begins to heal. It’s important to note that if you’re loving the difference you’re seeing in the mirror, you need to ensure you keep up with future peels. Before you leave the spa, ask your technician when you should schedule upcoming appointments and how frequently you can and should have the chemical peels done.

Have we piqued your interest? If you have any questions about getting a chemical peel, our knowledgeable staff are always here to answer your questions. If you are ready to go ahead and just take the plunge, we encourage you to make an appointment at the Dan’l Webster Inn location or at our Cape Codder Resort location. As always, we hope our spa becomes your new home for all things skin care and relaxation. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!
