CELLULITE
Cellulite is caused by fat deposits just below the surface of the skin that bulge out from fibrous cords connecting the skin to the underlying tissue. Collagen fibers that connect fat to the skin stretch or break down allowing the fat cells to bulge out. This creates the rippled look of cellulite and gives a dimpled appearance to the skin; it is most commonly seen on the buttocks, hips and thighs. Both the Accent™ and Zerona® break down cellulite accumulation, releases and flushes away toxins and fatty deposits from the body, drains excess fluid from the body, boosts collagen production to improve the appearance of skin, targets key areas and pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, improves the texture and tone of the skin, and improves the resilience of your skin.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The Accent™ can be used on almost every part of the body, and the treatment is quick, effective and relatively painless. Accent™ uses dual-layer radio frequency to heat the dermis (your skin’s inner layer) with no damage to the epidermis (your skin’s outer layer). The laser also heats up the dermal layer of skin which releases fat cells into the body for natural removal and firms up the skin in the process. The procedure takes less than an hour (depending on treatment area) and requires no downtime; while most people experience slight redness and swelling, this will disappear within a day or two.
Zerona® is six, quick and painless treatments administered over a two week period. You simply lie under the Zerona® slimming device for 40 minutes (20 minutes on your front and 20 minutes on your back). The clinically-proven, safe low-level laser does not produce heat. Zerona® utilizes the Erchonia® Laser Scanner, the safest and most researched low-level laser in the world. Initially designed and FDA approved for use during liposuction, the non-invasive Erchonia laser is applied and creates small pores in the membrane of the fat cell enabling the fat to seep out of the cell. The excess fat is then passed out of the body during its normal course of detoxification.

THINGS TO KNOW

Accent™

Zerona®
- Suggested treatment schedule of six sessions over two weeks (for maximum results, treatments will be scheduled no more than three days apart)
- The Zerona® treatment can be used effectively on essentially every part of the body where localized fat deposits exist that are resistant to diet and exercise. Most patients start with treating the waist, hips and thighs which can all be targeted in 1 treatment. Other areas include upper arms, bra-line fat, inner knees, back fat and buttocks.
- There is no risk involved in using the Zerona® low-level laser therapy. It is considered a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as liposuction.
- You will feel no discomfort or side effects, no anesthesia will be used and you can assume normal activities immediately following each treatment. The Zerona® treatment will not cause any bruising or scarring.
- CURVA™ supplements are recommended (CURVA™ is a blend of Niacin, L-Carnitine, Gingko Biloba and Green Tea extract designed to aid in the detoxification process)
